Reformation Sunday Duet Concert & Hymn Sing
Sunday, October 26th, 2025 • 4:00 PM
Join us on Reformation Sunday for an inspiring afternoon of sacred music and song as part of the Amazing Grace Concert Series! Organist Linda Hoch and pianist Jeff Daubenmire join forces to present a concert that includes some of the most well-known sacred hymns arranged for organ and piano, with stunning settings by Mark Hayes, Marvin Gaspard, John Innes, Joel Raney, and others.
This concert will also feature the church’s new Rodgers organ, filling the sanctuary with its rich and expressive sound. In addition to beautifully arranged duets, there will be hymn singing throughout the concert, uniting the congregation in music that reflects the liturgical themes of the Reformation and honors the enduring legacy of Martin Luther.
Program Highlights:
Linda Hoch serves as Organist at Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church, and Jeff Daubenmire is Director of Music at Powell United Methodist Church. Together, they bring artistry, faith, and passion to this unique celebration of sacred music.

Amazing Grace Concert Series presents "An Evening with Organist Dan Miller" on Sunday, September 14, 7pm. Dan Miller is an internationally renowned musician. He has taught music, conducted choirs and orchestras, and managed large concert productions and music conferences. He is also respected as an innovative leader in handbells. Mr. Miller is well known for his composing and arranging, has several published works. He has been seen and heard live in concert and through recordings on radio, television and the internet. He has also been the featured solo organist with several symphony orchestras and has recorded 22 organ CDs. Dan is now in his 26th year at Rodgers Instruments, one of the world’s leading organ builders, in Hillsboro, Oregon, as Rodgers’ Artist & Tonal Professional and is an Adjunct Professor of Organ at George Fox University in Newburg, Oregon.
A church organist since age fifteen, Mr. Miller has served at several notable churches. At Calvary Church in Charlotte, North Carolina, he presided over the world’s thirteenth largest pipe organ; at Coral Ridge Presbyterian Church in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, he served as assistant organist to Dian Bish. Dan is currently the organist for Saint Matthew’s Lutheran Church in Beaverton, Oregon, and serves many other churches nationwide as guest organist for their worship services.
Mr. Miller holds a Church Music Diploma from Moody Bible Institute. He majored in organ performance at The American Conservatory of Music, holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Florida Atlantic University, and a Master of Music degree in organ performance from Winthrop University.

Community Concerts" provided musical events at Grace for the congregation of Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church and the larger Westerville community. In 2025 our music outreach team rebranded "A Joyful Noise! Community Concerts" to "Amazing Grace Concert Series!" which includes the name of our congregation.

We are excited to kick off this series with a Church Music Festival, May 18, 3:30 PM, featuring our choirs and musicians!
