Our Directors
Dr. Helen Kang has dedicated her life to choral music, nurturing her passion from an early age and refining her talents through higher education.  Her journey has been shaped not only by academic pursuits, but also by a deep commitment to enriching church services through choral artistry.  She has taught music at the collegiate level across various institutions, and served as an associate conductor for the World Vision Korean
Children’s Choir.  Now she serves as choir director at Grace Lutheran Church.  

Jeff Daubenmire holds degrees in music education and
educational administration from Ohio University.   A
classically trained pianist, Jeff has played professionally
for nearly three decades, performing as featured soloist
or collaborative accompanist in a variety nation wide
events.  Jeff has been involved in church music from
age 12, and has served as in several churches as organist
or Director of Music.  Formerly Executive Vice President
of Hocking College, Jeff is now retired and currently
serves as Director of Music at Powell United Methodist
Church.

Eunjin Sul is a distinguished soprano known for her expressive
artistry and captivating performances.  She earned her Master
of Arts in voice from Jeonbuk National University In South Korea,
and has portrayed leading roles in Mozart’s operas.  Beyond the
stage, she has shared her love of music by serving churches across
Korea, China and the United States.  Since settling in Ohio in 2022,
she continues to enrich the region’s musical community.  

Linda Hoch has been the organist/pianist at Grace since August
of 2001.  She graduated magna cum laude from Capital University
earlier that year with bachelor degrees in both chemistry and
organ performance, and served as organist for Sunday morning
chapel services.  Linda then earned her Doctor of Pharmacy
degree at The Ohio State University, graduating cum laude in 2007. Linda is married to Dr. Christopher Hoch (whom she met at Grace) and has two children:  Benjamin (Benny) and Margaret (Maggie). 

Our violinist, Aaron Schwartz, serves as Concertmaster of Opera Project Columbus and Assistant Concertmaster of the Lacrosse Symphony Orchestra in Lacrosse, Wisconsin.  Aaron creates chamber music arrangements and performs them regularly as both a founding member of the KASA Quartet and a performing artist with the Caroga Lake Music Festival in New York.  As a teacher, he is an associated faculty member of the Chamber Music Connection in Worthington, Ohio, where he coaches chamber music and improvisation. Aaron received a Bachelor of Music  in Violin Performance and an Advanced Musical Studies Certificate from Carnegie Mellon University under the tutelage of Andres Cardenas, and currently plays  with a French-Canadian bow crafted by Richard Compartino on loan from Deborah Price.
